In Kona Hawaii a team of innovators are pioneering a new concept in Performing Arts. It's called Center Stage. Traditionally students could be heavily involved in the studio for their Performing Arts schools and then have to be totally out of the studio during the Bible courses or worldview courses. Center Stage I, II offers both courses concurrently with the skill based SOPA training in the afternoons and the lectures of Bible course or worldview in the mornings.

This plan creates a higher level of performance skill and a strong bond between students and teachers as well as creative responses to the Scripture and worldview teaching.

When students are finished with the 2 year Center Stage program they have earned an Associates of Arts Degree in Performing Arts. They have a blend of exciting outreach performance experience and highly challenging academic learning as well as plenty of skill based training in dance, drama, music and even some fine arts. Its a smorgasbord of the arts!!

The beginning of the next Center Stage program starts January 2010 in Kona. Write to Uli Kimmich ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) for more information about how to get involved in this innovative program.
